"UNTITLED"

silky white satin

lines this box

cushions and pillows

you are at a loss

for words

i look down

to see a dress

pretty in black

i am impressed

my nails are painted

an ebony shade

why have you bothered?

they will just decay

i hear  a few sobs

a wail of remorse

the organ plays

such a macabre chorus

a few solemn words

then the lid is shut

six men in suits

a handle for each

surround my enclosure

tears leach

it is a heavy burden

to carry such a load

light, near weightless

now all alone

taken to a hearse

the procession begins

slowly moving

family and kin

set between

two metal bars

on pulleys

awaiting my last barge

a few more words

the last of the prayers

i'm lowered down

through the earths layers

rigor mortis

has long set in

my body stiffens

decomposing

the dirt feels heavy

and i am cold

i died too young

and will never grow old

i'm sorry i did it

i'm sorry i lied

i never showed you

that i have cried

i didnt know what to do

i found my answer

after i called to you

you never helped me

you hurt me so much

now i am free

to have fun and such
